Philosophy

The Vision Training Soccer Academy is a nonprofit corporation offering soccer development opportunities for players, ages 5 through 18.  The Vision Training Soccer Academy provides curriculum-based training for Skill Building, Problem Solving, and Vision that accelerates learning.  Additionally, the Play and Learn Leagues offer a place for our youth to learn and enjoy the game.  Through its efforts, VTSA established the foundation for a new era of soccer in the Eastern Pennsylvania/Western New Jersey region.  VTSA is committed to providing a positive learning environment and quality instruction for all of our players, both on and off the field.  Through Vision Training, a unique and comprehensive program of player development, VTSA helps enhance creativity and decision-making skills.  VTSA empowers players to evolve in the sport of soccer and become successful in life.

Equality & Acceptance

VTSA Tolerance Policy - There will be no tolerance for negative statements or actions between parents, players and coaches. Any verbal, written or physical conduct related to gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or poor sportsmanship shall not be tolerated and could cause the violator ejection or dismissal from the club.

Player Commitment

Your dedication to VTSA should be your primary soccer commitment. We do realize that some players enjoy playing for multiple teams, but any decision to choose a recreational soccer activity over a VTSA travel soccer activity (training session or game) could adversely affect your child’s playing time or spot on the team. We prioritize player development, placing high importance on consistent attendance, effort, and attitude during training sessions and games.

Player Injury & Return to Play

In the event that a player sustains an injury or reports persistent pain that limits their participation in practices or games, the Club may require evaluation by a licensed physician. A written physician’s clearance note must be provided to the Club prior to the player’s return to full participation.

This policy is intended to protect the health and safety of all players. Coaches are not medical professionals and cannot determine whether an injury is safe to play through. Until proper medical clearance is provided, the player may be withheld from training sessions and games.

VTSA Playing Time

At Vision Training Soccer Academy (VTSA), our mission is to develop players to their fullest potential—technically, tactically, physically, and mentally—while fostering a love for the game and a commitment to team. While every player’s growth matters, we believe competitive environments prepare players for the next level. Therefore, playing time is merit-based, not guaranteed or equal.

Parent Code of Conduct

The Vision Training Soccer Academy (VTSA) upholds the highest standards for parent, coach, and player behavior. We cultivate a fun, safe learning environment where good sportsmanship is imperative. Inappropriate behavior from parents, including negative comments, harassment, or disruptive actions, will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
